Meeting the needs of children with SEN and disabilities.

 The school’s vision for SEN provision is that starting with an holistic view of each individual and working in collaboration with pupils, parent/ carers and other agencies, we will provide effective class based provision for all pupils with SEND, alongside a structured, targeted intervention programme to ensure we use our best endeavours to enable all pupils to receive timely, early intervention as needed to aid their access to learning. 

We are committed to meeting the needs of children with SEND in line with our duties under the Children and Families Act 2014, and the Equalities Act 2010.   This is achieved through a whole school approach to the ‘assess, plan, do, review’ cycle to identify needs, plan timely provision and adapt provision based on regular reviews of progress towards agreed outcomes.
