The school will be arranged into seven classes,
one class per year group.
At present, the aim is to have 30 children or fewer in each class.

We have a classroom assistant in each class
to support the teacher. Our special needs provision allows one-to-one
and small group teaching to help children who might have learning difficulties.
Disabled Pupils
The school will assess the needs of each
pupil and adapt accordingly, if possible. The school is a single storey
building with some single steps to accommodate a change of ground level.
The school has a disabled toilet and disabled access. Any parent with concerns
should discuss their child's needs with the headteacher.
Children with Special Needs
The school is committed to ensuring that
all children achieve their potential.
We have a well-developed special needs policy and a team of staff to
support children with learning or physical difficulties.
The school makes statutory assessments
at the start of school, at 7 years old and 11 years old. The school
nurse and doctor conduct developmental checks as needed. This information,
coupled with the teacher's knowledge of the child helps the school to
make the best educational provision for each individual child.
The school looks for full parental partnership to help the child make
effective progress.

School Lunches
School lunches are cooked on the premises.
The cost is £1.54 per meal. This price is subject to increase
as directed by the school meals service.
Packed Lunches
Those bringing packed lunch are reminded
they are responsible for the safe packaging of food as we have no cool
storage. No child may bring a packed lunch containing nut products as
we have children with peanut allergies.
School Security
The school carries out
risk assessment of health and safety each term. The school has secure
boundary fencing and gates. The school takes every opportunity to ensure
a safe environment for the children and staff.
