St Thomas is a good school with some very good features (OFSTED inspection
report 2000) Our OFSTED Inspection report in November 2000 stated that St
Thomas' School is 'a good school with some very good features' and included
the following findings : "The pupils enjoy school, are eager to learn and
always do their best. They are well behaved. Attainment in mathematics and
art is high. The provision for social and moral development is very good.
Overall, teaching is good, with nearly a third of lessons observed very good.
The school involves parents very well in the daily life of the school"
